Were there again for dinner today and it is always very tasty ? there was pulled pork and Carthusian dumplings as a dessert, what a treat ? but Timo's favorite dish is just awesome, so a good rump steak is often not eaten and the price is okay. Service very friendly and service very good.

On our tour through the Steigerwald we arrived today at noon in the Gasthaus zum Zabelstein. In the large courtyard of many flowers and shrubs was framed we got a nice table and were also greeted by the boss friendly. The service was extremely attentive and there were also useful tips on the climb to the nearby ruins. The freshly prepared food was also quite fast and tasted great. As you realize that the hosts understand something of their craft and also the regional, high-quality products. The guest room itself also offers enough space - even for larger groups and is very inviting. Right next to the restaurant is a large playground - if the children after eating a few calories must be trampled;) that was a very nice stay here today and we will definitely be back!
